Carpet Cleaning West Palm Beach says:

Thanks for a good tutorial!

Corey Masters says:

Great video thank you. This is how I was taught to do it, good to know.

99WhiteTA says:

Do you still have your Big Red and if so are you willing to sell it?

hcciam says:

Oh, and since you think my tm doesn’t have enough “suck”, I get 15″ Hg,
running 15 flow (5 03 jets) at 500psi keyed, and it drives in 1-2 hours.
And I know it won’t remove ALL the dry particulate, cause I’ve seen what
came out when I vacuumed. When I’m done, I “KNOW” I’ve removed maximum
amount of soil. I’m not guessing.

killercoward19 says:

What Kind of truck mount do you use?

John Leitaker says:

I tell customers to tell the contractors I love this carpet, please protect
it at all time. Even if the carpets being replaced i dont think the guy
ripping it out should have to breath a pile of drywall dust.

Ronald Thumser says:

Steem way no risk to clients I don’t let them play with my equipment carpet
fibers are formed at over 400 degrees so at 310 wont hurt it

belacianzimzam says:

Get some new shoes!

hcciam says:

and what brand of TM are you using? HX, fuel fired? At 310atw you are
posing a huge risk to your clients, one, lest that hose should break, two,
just some kid comes and touches it, three, melting carpet. I’ll post this
over on Mikeysboard, some guys on there were claiming such numbers

sixplus6 says:

you gotta sloppy J stroke there buddy

hcciam says:

We’ve discussed your “claims”. I’ve found no respectable cleaner that would
clean at those temps. You lose all benefits above 250F, anything more and
you’re doing it for bragging rights. Steam vapour is a poor cleaning system
for carpet unless you’re bonnet cleaning, even then its poor. You’re
cleaning surface only. You would have left a ton of soil in the carpet in
my video. Once you got that soil wet you’re not able to suck it out. For
further discussion, provide name of busn and equipment

hcciam says:

@MySonIsAdorable I hot water extraction is my first choice for cleaning
method. The other methods have their place but I don’t believe they clean
as thoroughly.

hcciam says:

Yep, you did prove something to me. You’re right, I was assuming. I assumed
I was talking with a normal intelligent professional. I apologize
profusely! I see now you have an OCD issue. All your comments have made it
quite clear having a reasonable discussion with you is near impossible.
Seriously, you have issues. Get off the roids, or get on some meds, I don’t
know, but get a life. People like you is why I have the restriction on
posts. over and out.

johnsn10 says:

$1100 A DAY

hcciam says:

@killercoward19 This vid was made with a modified Big Red. Currently I am
using a Judson CanAm.

hcciam says:

@metra0808 You just described the cleaners that respond on here that say
they could do the work in half the time. Not all will charge half the price
however as you’ve discovered. Some will still charge a high price but only
give you a cheap job. This is the reason for my vids, to show people a
better way, what they should expect from a better cleaner. They are out
there but you have to ask around to find them.

hcciam says:

300psi would be about industry average by tm cleaners. Most wands come
stock with either 01, 015, or 02 jets Most cleaners use 1.5″ tubed wands,
some 1.75″, more going to 2″ Average wand is like an AW29 with 2 jets, more
going to the 14-16″ wide wands, from 4-6jets. Prochem has a nice 4jet wand,
if I’m not mistaken the Ti wand only has 4jets, or 6, 02’s probably stock.
The Greenhorn comes stock with 5 02’s. Most guys wand fast with small jets
and ave pressure, dries faster, less issues

benjiheads says:

ive been cleaning carpets for 7 yrs top vid total way to a correct process
nice on hcciam

hcciam says:

@Mrphantomstalker a 4-5bedroom house, IF in that condition, might take
7-9hrs. Or maybe I might take two days to clean it. I didn’t/don’t clean a
carpet to be “cost effective”, I clean it to clean it, to do the best job I
can. Which step would you have left out to be cost effective? What soil
would you leave behind? How would you describe your cleaning to the
customer; “Its as clean as I can get it” or “It looks clean”? For most
cleaners, both statements are accurate.

hcciam says:

@spencerthomas12 Please feel free to enlighten me as to what was wrong with
my procedure. Be prepared to back it up. Not exactly sure where you’re
coming from in your comments, for or against HWE?

hcciam says:

SO what miracle machine are you running?? What wand? What are your specs?
Many other cleaners would love to know too because they have those
problems. Are you cleaning mid to upscale homes or do you get trashed
places? I watched a guy with an RX20 clean an area and it turned brown
before our eyes…twice. Do tell us sir and please post your busn name.

hcciam says:

@Mrphantomstalker I’m in Canada. Can you charge £5-600? Probably Yes. IF
you are doing everything that I am doing and you are NOT getting top
dollar, or in this case pound, then you are under charging. You say you get
£125 for all that, how much time do you take? what are the competition
charging? Is £125 enough for you? Average 3bdrm hse takes me around 4 hrs,
I am NOT going to charge $250 (about £125) for all that effort and time.

itswhatido100 says:

ive vacuumed carpets after cleaning and like always, there is nothing in
the vacuum cleaner. Like I said, no need to vacuum two hours unless you
like wasting your time. And when I clean stairs I never get browning on the
nose. when i clean an entrance way, it never turns brown. my machine gets
everything

hcciam says:

@stormchasers101 That’s it? Yeah, I could have gone a little slower with my
dry passes, but One, I am extracting only the water I put down, not so much
soil since I’d prevac’d thoroughly Two, the glide is VERY efficient at
water extraction Three, being there and seeing the performance from the
Roots59 blower, I was moving the wand at a speed I felt comfortable to do
the job yet be efficient with time Carpet felt almost dry to the touch when
I was leaving, damp, but no moisture to the hand.

hcciam says:

I prefer steam cleaning over all the methods as well. Sure makes a huge
difference. I do use “chemicals”, have to use something other than just
water to clean with though some promote “empowered water” ie Zerorez, but
that empowered water is still a chemical. Hec, water, H2O, is a chemical.
The point is to use a chemical that will not harm me or the client or the
environment.

hcciam says:

@ramirez7084 try a hot white vinegar solution, 1:3 hot water, pour it on,
blot thoroughly with a towel, repeat, repeat and if necessary repeat.
Depends on how much urine “happened”. This is the simplest and safest
advice I can give.

hcciam says:

@gosammy44 Yes I’m a pro. Most so called “pros” would never have gotten it
that clean to begin with. You just trying to pick at something or do you do
all the work you’ve just seen and then groom yourself? BTW, grooming is
part of my Deluxe with includes protector.

Kevin S says:

you know when we got a carpet clener thay did not do a good job. thay
pushed the crums to the side of the carpet. so we did not see the crums
thay charged us like $400 just to clen 10 feet of the toy room i got pissed
off i exploaded like tnt! mom said wow! then she went to the side of the
rug and saw 1,000,00 peaes of crums and said why did the asshole clean the
carpet? i said thay just pushed the crums off to the side so thats why you
should get your carpet cleaner im out bitch!!!!

hcciam says:

@jaymark1 @jaymark1 Yes, the glide makes it almost too easy to push,
wouldn’t work without one now. I would have liked to do it less than 4hrs,
but that’s how much time it took. 8jet wand at 800psi? What wand are you
using? Never heard of an 8jet wand. And what TM are you using? A
Steamaction or Big Truck? Does your wand have the angled jets as well?

martin anderson says:

I’ve just completed my IICRC course and although I vacuum 1st if I spent
that long on a room I’d go broke …. I’m trying to find a uv light for
urine detection , any ideas thx
